The continence aids payment scheme (CAPS) is a government scheme to financially assist people who have permanent and severe incontinence, helping them meet some of the cost of incontinence management products.
The CAPS payment rate for 2018-19 is up to $596.60. The payment is indexed each year, meaning it may slightly increase or decrease following the Government’s Budget process. Those eligible to receive CAPS funding have the choice of one full payment in July or two half payments in July and January of each year.
If you are an Australian citizen or a permanent Australian resident, aged 5 years or older experiencing one of the following you are eligible for CAPS.

Simply get Department of Health to deposit your CAPS funds directly with Surgical House (minimum $250) by using the CAPS authorisation form. Download prefilled form from here.
Alternatively deposit a minimum amount of $250 of your own funds into a Surgical House CAPS account via credit card, cheque, money order or bank transfer. Then simply place your order with Surgical House in person, online or over the phone. This option does not require forms.
